New Delhi (June 27) — Punjab has seen the sale of approximately 2 lakh properties over the last 5–6 years, yet only around 1,500 complaints have been registered by buyers, according to Rakesh Kumar Goyal, Chairperson of RERA Punjab.
Goyal noted that most of these complaints pertain to projects initiated prior to the implementation of the RERA Act.
“Punjab remains a progressive state in terms of real estate growth,” he said at a NAREDCO Mahi conference, highlighting that nearly 3,000 projects are registered with RERA Punjab, and the majority are progressing well.
