The Ludhiana Municipal Corporation has launched a One-Time Settlement (OTS) Scheme for property tax defaulters, offering major relief:

• ✅ 100% waiver on penalty & interest if dues (till March 31, 2025) are paid by July 31, 2025
• ✅ 50% waiver if paid between August 1 and October 31, 2025
• ❌ No waiver after October 31, 2025

The scheme targets recovery of over ₹70 crore in pending dues, some dating back to 2013–14. While it benefits defaulters, officials urge prompt payment to avoid future penalties.
